Coding for Continuum with Adaptive UI – Carl Schweitzer

Abstract

Continuum is an AMAZING technology that enables devices to transform right in front of our eyes. But to do this, we have to understand how to adapt our code and make move with our changing environments. We will learn about the new concept for client development called Adaptive UI and how it enables Continuum to shine.
With Adaptive UI we will use a lot of our existing skills from WPF, Silverlight, and WinRT and mix that with a couple of new Xaml capabilities and controls. We will also use multiple ways to experience Continuum, including the wired display dock and wirelessly.
